Their story
Pure Concept designs, manufactures and installs minimalist aluminium windows, and carries out complete renovations, in Belgium, Luxembourg and across Europe. Our conviction was forged over the 25 years Julien, our founder, has spent in the world of windows, grown into a true practice of minimalism: every opening is conceived not as a product, but as a moment of transformation.
Our obsession: detail. Our windows are among the slimmest on the market — more light, less frame. We install premium Cortizo aluminium systems from Spain, manufactured in 6 to 8 weeks and installed by our own specialised team: sliding systems with up to 94% glass, casements with hidden sashes, pivot doors and glass railings.
You can simply entrust us with your windows, or with the entire renovation. For every trade we bring in a specialist — joiner, screed layer, electrician, metalworker, kitchen maker — and you have one point of contact, Julien, from the first drawing to the last handle. Many of our projects are carried out alongside architects, contractors and interior designers.
Every project begins with a conversation: a 30-minute call with Julien, then a visit and a detailed quote. Julien answers every message himself.
Services
Sliding glass doors
Up to 94% glass, a 20 mm interlock and an invisible threshold; we have installed six-metre sets.
Casement windows
Hidden sash, invisible handle and hinges, triple glazing available and a range certified for passive houses.
Pivot doors
Large formats, concealed operators, flush aluminium thresholds; LED pull handle and fingerprint opening as options.
Glass railings
Toughened laminated glass held by a recessed aluminium profile: no posts, no handrail unless you want one.
Frameless windows
The frame recessed in the masonry, the sash hidden behind the glass: inside and out, only glass and view remain.
Complete renovation
Enlarged openings, floors, kitchen and bathroom, insulation, electricity: a specialist for every trade, one point of contact.
Express service
A broken window, a forced door, a stalled site: delivered in 4 weeks, quoted separately and at Pure Concept’s sole discretion.
Repair or replace
Broken glazing, roller, handle, gasket: we tell you honestly, on the first call, whether a repair makes sense.
What we don’t do
Small standard PVC windows — not our trade — and prices per square metre: every project is quoted after the visit.
Work
Catherine, a panoramic bay beneath the beams
- The need
- A house that looks out over the Luxembourg countryside, but through a string of small windows.
- What was done
- Beneath the original beams, laid bare, a panoramic bay replaces the small windows; the kitchen extends the gesture to the garden. Sliding and casement.
- The result
- The fields, the tree line and the sky now enter the living room at every hour of the day.
Ellie, a nineteenth-century mansion
- The need
- Introducing contemporary glazing into a nineteenth-century mansion without betraying a century of architectural memory.
- What was done
- Windows with frames so minimal they seem to dissolve, respecting the brick façade, and a floor-to-ceiling sliding bay onto the garden.
- The result
- A house that honours its past: the string of partitioned rooms has become a bright enfilade, the kitchen open to the garden.
Sophie, a complete interior renovation
- The need
- Owners taken with the idea of living in their garden rather than beside it, and a kitchen that feels like an extension of the landscape.
- What was done
- A complete interior renovation: floor-to-ceiling minimalist glazing, with profiles so slender they almost vanish, and a walnut island.
- The result
- On summer evenings, the boundary between kitchen and garden simply ceases to exist.
Françoise, a pivot door on the façade
- The need
- A commercial building in the heart of a Belgian town, among terraced façades repeating in a quiet rhythm.
- What was done
- A pivot door of unusual proportions that opens with a single gesture; above, windows with entirely hidden frames; glass railings.
- The result
- The effect of an architectural sculpture: every surface considered, every joint invisible.

Frequently asked questions
What are the installation costs?
Every project is unique: pricing depends on the system chosen, dimensions, configuration, wind load and thermal requirements. We provide a custom quote after the initial consultation.
What are the timelines?
Allow around 8 weeks between your approval and the installation; we send you a precise schedule as soon as your order is confirmed. A complete renovation takes three to nine months.
Can you deliver faster?
When a deadline cannot wait, the Express service delivers in 4 weeks. It is quoted separately and its acceptance is at Pure Concept’s sole discretion, depending on the nature of the request and the workshop’s load.
Can I have my own contractor install?
Our systems require specialised expertise and are not standard window installations: we strongly recommend our own team, for optimal performance and to maintain your warranty.
Do you work with my architect?
Gladly. Many of our projects are led with architects and interior designers who share our demand for detail.
Is a permit needed to enlarge an opening?
In Brussels a façade change often requires a planning permit; we guide you and prepare the technical documents.
