Their story
Axess Guarding is a security company based in Ransart, Charleroi, founded in December 2016 and licensed by the FPS Home Affairs since 2018. Its co-founder, David Mwaku, runs it. We provide security for your events, close protection, alarm response, static guarding and surveillance, and store detection.
Events are at the heart of what we do: parties, nightclubs, funfairs, cultural, sporting and corporate events. We control the entrances, handle any conflicts and stay visible in the crowd, so that everyone can enjoy the moment in peace. When the health crisis brought events to a halt, we turned to guarding shops and building sites, work we were already doing. Our strength: with no more powers than anyone else, our officers are specially trained to deal with the public and to handle situations that can turn heated.
Every officer is recruited after psychometric tests, an in-depth security interview and a medical check of their physical fitness. Their training, entrusted to a body approved by the Ministry of the Interior, covers security, procedures, first aid, firefighting, ethics and observation techniques; it starts on hiring and continues throughout, and the most experienced pass on what they know to the youngest. On duty, our officers wear the Axess Guarding uniform and the identification card issued by the authorities, shown on request.
